Sun Telecom's SUN-EMC series of rackmount chassis is able to manage the media converters in a centralized manner. These chassis have a 19" standard structure with 14, 16 and 17 slots, centralized power supply which reduces the number of power cables. They are easy to operate and maintain and suitable for various applications which require high reliability, high capacity, high integration and high-performance work environments.

1. 14-slot rackmount chassis can accommodate 14 pieces of 100Mbps or 1000Mbps stand-alone type media converters with external power supply
2. 16-slot rackmount chassis can accommodate 16 pieces of 100Mbps card type media converters
3. 17-slot rackmount chassis can accommodate 16 pieces of 100Mbps card type media converters with network management function and 1 piece of 100Mbps Network Management Card or 17 pieces of 1000Mbps card type media converters
